When core values are corrupted, they have no value at all.
Mission E4 promotes its "Biblical", "Courageous", "Faithfull", "Honorable", "Prayerful" core values as guiding its ministry.
"We will not conform to the ways of the world" rings true when a sexual abuse victim is forced to have their allegations judged by the perpetrator, rather than being protected and loved.
"It is to a man's honor to overlook an offense" tells victims that they should shoulder the burden of depression, PTSD and anxiety by ignoring heinous acts of sexual violence.
"Love covers over a multitude of offenses" calls for victims to ignore the sin and lack of repentance.
"We avoid gossip and strife" puts victims in fear of discussing the violations they endured, keeping the truth hidden in darkness.
"Each and every day, we strive to put others before ourselves" except when it comes to the people they serve and those they have harmed.
Do not allow Mission E4 to continue to misuse a Biblical foundation for its own benefit.
"As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear" - 1 Timothy 5:20
